My Story
My introduction to holistic health, wellness, yoga, and living in tune with my cycle and nature didn’t sprout from trends or aesthetics. It came from constant battles of feeling unwell for a long time and not receiving any answers.
For years, I dealt with persistent stomach issues and anxiety that affected my daily life. I saw countless doctors, ran tests, and searched for explanations, only to be told again and again that nothing was wrong. I felt disconnected, unheard, and unsure of how to support myself beyond being told everything looked “normal.”
Looking back on that time, I am extremely grateful that I received very little from modern medicine practice. This experience planted an early seed to begin my exploration in other avenues of how to heal.
Years later, this curiosity only bloomed and deepened in a profound way. When my mom passed away after a long battle with cancer, it changed the way I think about time, the body, and the way we care for ourselves while we’re here.
I don’t believe wellness is about control or guarantees. I don’t believe there’s a perfect formula that prevents illness. But I do believe there are ways of living that support resilience, regulation, and vitality over time. Ways of listening to the body earlier. Ways of tending to stress, nourishment, and emotional health with more intention and care.
Flourishing Vitality grew from that belief.
What is Flourishing Vitality?
Flourishing Vitality is rooted in the idea of human flourishing. Flourishing to me is about learning how to live in a way that supports the whole of being human, physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Vitality goes beyond physical health. It’s reflected in how regulated the nervous system feels, how connected we are to our bodies, and how present we are in our lives. It’s the ability to move through change, stress, joy, and grief without completely disconnecting from ourselves.
I believe we flourish when we live in closer relationship with our bodies, with nature, and with the natural rhythms that shape our lives. When we pay attention to cycles, honor rest as much as action, and listen to what the body is asking for before something feels off.
Flourishing Vitality exists to explore this way of living.
